Miami Jouvert 2019 owes me nothing! My crew and I had an absolute ball. This years jouvert was extra special because I has some special people on the road with me this year!
First my baby sisters Manou and Panda my favorite siblings to fete with!
Then we got the world famous @TwinsDntBeg! The twins are my favorite production team to work with, so when I decided I wanted to do the carnival culture episode, I had to fly them in from Ghana. It was Emma's first carnival experience and it was such a joy watching him take it all in lol.
#Jouvert is the official start to carnival, commencing in a large street party at dawn. This event is held annually as part of #Carnival in many Caribbean #islands and in areas where Caribbean people have immigrated. This year I am taking you inside #MiamiBrowardCarnival. South Florida has one of the highest concentrations of #Caribbean #Immigrants in the United States.
